Are you our new intern? We do hope so!

PLH offers internships in autumn 2026 for aspiring architects, architectural technologists, and landscape architects.

At PLH, we welcome a new group of 5-7 interns every six months. We do this because we want to help educate and inspire the next generation of architects, architectural technologists, and landscape architects – and because we learn and gain inspiration ourselves. We are currently looking for interns for autumn 2026.

Who is PLH?
PLH is an architecture and design practice focused on bringing out the best in people. We work on projects in Denmark and internationally, particularly within commercial, life science, infrastructure, retail, and residential sectors, while maintaining broad expertise across disciplines. We are 175 employees who believe in the strategic potential of architecture and design, creating value for our clients and the people who use their buildings and spaces.

Internship at PLH
At PLH, you work with us – not for us. As an intern, you become an integral part of a project team on equal footing with your colleagues. You will have significant influence and responsibility, while always having experienced PLH colleagues to spar with and support your professional and personal development.
We only take on 5-7 interns at a time to ensure a meaningful learning experience tailored to your interests, skills, and ambitions.

Work-life balance and social community
At PLH, work-life balance is a priority. You can expect a 37-hour work week, including lunch breaks. We also place great emphasis on our social community, with a wide range of clubs, professional development opportunities, and social events that everyone is welcome to join.

An internship that matters – with responsibility from day one

At PLH, we welcome new interns every six months – an opportunity we truly value, as it allows for shared learning. To us, you’re not just an intern – you’re an important part of a project team, part of the social community, and you’re offered fair and supportive conditions.

We believe that future architects, architectural technologists, landscape architects, and designers will grow stronger by experiencing how a project team operates in practice. That’s why our interns are never placed in a separate “internal team,” but instead become an integrated part of our studio’s projects.

We asked Nina Wretlind and Michael Mørk, who are involved in recruiting interns and shaping their internship experience, what you can expect as an intern at PLH:

"You start on equal footing with the rest of the team," says Nina. "As an intern, you have your own role within a project team, take part in meetings with clients and engineers, and gain more responsibility as you grow – both professionally and socially."

Michael adds: "We tailor each internship to the individual. If you’re eager to take on responsibility, you’ll get it – and we continuously follow up to ensure you achieve the learning goals you’ve set for yourself. In return, we also expect feedback, so we can keep improving the internship experience."

As an intern at PLH, you don’t just gain valuable experience working on real projects with real tools. You also build professional relationships, become part of an active social environment with 10+ clubs, and experience PLH’s flat, down-to-earth culture. As Nina puts it: "You quickly become part of the PLH family."

Or, as Michael says with a smile: "Unofficially, PLH stands for Peace, Love and Harmony – and you feel that as an intern too."
